The idea of coming together of citizens of Garo Hills Tura in forming TRC was started for encouraging more people to embrace a healthy lifestyle by including running in their life.The marathon event will be organized by TRC because we believe that running practiced as little as 3-4 times a week bring very rich rewards like better health, healthy heart Energetic, less incidence of illness & joy of living by reducing stress.
To promote awareness on health and fitness among general populace. To promote friendship and goodwill, peaceful and harmonious co-existence of all people living in and around Garo Hills in particular and the surrounding areas in general irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
To nurture and promote the budding youths of the region in the field of sports. To organize and participate in both National and International events.

To promote co-operation of multiple understanding with similar organizations on a regional, national and international level in finding different and maximum possibility to provide good welfare to the local people of Garo Hills and its surrounding areas.
